Richard Ouzounian, a writer for The Toronto Star, included a stop at eighty3 in his "Six Meals" column featuring Memphis.
Below is an excerpt from the article about his brunch experience at eighty3.
SUNDAY MORNING - EIGHTY3
This truly jumping spot has an assortment of cocktail and nighttime activities worth checking out, but I found it very pleasant in the morning, where a quieter, more subdued crowd plays against the hip decor with a down home menu. Their pulled pork hash ($10), served on a bed of sauteed peppers and onions with two perfectly poached eggs and your own pouring pitcher of hollandaise sauce, while their “Big Ol’ Waffle” ($12), served with plenty of melted butter, spiced pecans and a generous side of chicken wings should put you in the true Memphis spirit.
